Originally from Denmark, Julie is a lettering artist, illustrator, and designer living in Vancouver, British Columbia. Julie’s fondness for typography comes through in her bold lettering pieces full of vibrant color and detailed illustrations. Julie’s playful and colorful style is a testament to a profound affection for the natural world, poetry, and human connection.

I had the honor and pleasure of designing a series of six t-shirts for the renowned Canadian fashion retailer La Maison Simons. We wanted the designs to embody and invoke positivity, happiness, and playfulness.

Working on the cover for Elodie Parthenay’s second poetry collection ‘Harvest’ was a beautiful extension of her words inside. We wanted it to be light and delicate, and bring with it memories of summer, warmth and sweet fruit.
